Will you be here for me now,

when all is falling down?
When my eyes see only darkness
all around?

I long to believe
that your hand is helping me,
but your voice is still,
and I don't hear a sound.

I've waited for so long,
with my heart
no longer strong,
won't you call
your sheep by name
and lead me out?

Lead me to your peace,
with your kind hand shielding me.
Guide me straight
to where all hope is found.

Lead me to the place
where I recognize your face
and I drop my fears and heartaches
on the ground.

Lead me to your strength,
help me see things like you see.
Restore my heart,
which life has broken down.

I know you've seen me here,
overwhelmed and trapped in fear.
Won't you call your sheep by name
and lead me out?
